Welcome to my world of Small Ideas!

I have always been a crafty person and have pretty much had a go at everything. I always had a love for Dolls Houses and their small world.
With two grown daughter's and no longer working, I now have the time to commit to my favourite past-time - making and creating Dolls Houses and Room Boxes.
I get totally absorbed in my small world creating tiny objects for the rooms. I am often told I am not on this planet when I am thinking of creating something new! I hope you enjoy my Blog as much as I will enjoy sharing my Small Ideas with you...

Waiting for her Valentine...

So, Mini Aesthetics set down the challenge to create a scene to celebrate either Valentine's Day, Chinese New Year or the Mardi Gras.
I thought of all those who never found their 'perfect man', Prince Charming or their very own 007 - James Bond.

Meet Dulcie on this Valentine's Day February 14th, 2013...

Waiting for my true love....

Now don't go thinking Dulcie hasn't tried enough, oh no! I found this list under her seat....

Single girls guide to dating:

Internet - Old men pretending to be young men
Cruise Ship - Young boys pretending to be men
Hardware Store - Deaf boys in their favorite toy shop
Local Butcher - Only thing in common was meat
Church - the Altar boy was too young
Pen Pals - Couldn't read his writing
Workplace - The Boss was married
Personal Trainer - I showed him!
Racing car driver - only 1 person could fit in the car with his ego

  9. Dulcie, I met my husband in a middle school cafeteria as a grown adult. I was trying to NOT meet someone. Don't give up hope!

I love this scene. It shows a true heart that will wait for her prince. Don't compromise, Dulcie!

  11. lol I'm old enough to laugh, and young enough to cry...sigh affairs of the heart. I think it was David Sedaris who said "you have to make a fool of yourself at least once a year over love", CM

  12. Poor Dulcie! All dressed up and nowhere to go. Amazing that she's still waiting for her soul mate. Poor thing! You never know, though, that phone could start ringing any minute now! In the meantime, here's to wishing you a very Happy Valentine day! Nice job of putting this together!
