Welcome to my world of Small Ideas!

I have always been a crafty person and have pretty much had a go at everything. I always had a love for Dolls Houses and their small world.
With two grown daughter's and no longer working, I now have the time to commit to my favourite past-time - making and creating Dolls Houses and Room Boxes.
I get totally absorbed in my small world creating tiny objects for the rooms. I am often told I am not on this planet when I am thinking of creating something new! I hope you enjoy my Blog as much as I will enjoy sharing my Small Ideas with you...

New website & Hat Trick!

Cut your old gloves up!
Alice Z
You will have heard me talk about Alice Zinn before in previous posts she makes those savvy sunglasses and travel luggage sets. Alice has finally got her own website Alice Zinn up and running so be sure to bookmark it! She also makes personalised printed fabrics for your very own designer range.

Also, this hat tip came through this morning on the Yahoo group The Camp: Use fingers from gloves to make cute little winter hats for your dolls heads - what a great and simple idea!

The Hobbies Girl
Have you come across "The Hobbies Girl"? wow! She makes some awesome stuff (love the modern wardrobe!) and check the easy peasy tutorial to make corn chips! There are also tutorials for jewellery stands and an office chair on wheel!

With cousin "Maggie"
Where is Mini Jazzi? MJ left Cyd's 2 weeks ago and I really thought she would have popped up at a new Hostesses place by now in the USA. I miss her and the wonderful stories everyone comes up. Don't forget next week is also Mini Jazzi's birthday and her age is a secret! I only need 5 more followers to reach the 300 mark and for someone to win an extra gift on my birthday draw next Tuesday! On Tuesday, I will write a special blog post about my 50 years rather than miniatures...should be amusing!

Little Chester, now 12 weeks old, had surgery yesterday to prevent further um Chester babies. He was a bit sore last night but is happily jumping around today.

Hugs, Jazzi xxx

  1. I may have to grumble about the fact that I hand knitted (in the round) on teeny tiny needles to knit my Qberry a beanie.... when I could have cut up gloves?! Seriously!

Am definitely going to check out the Hobby Girl and glad to hear Chester is doing ok after having his little operation!

  2. Great finds, love the hat idea! Funny how the most simple things can become something so cool in our mini world. Poor Chester, he won't be making anything 'mini' off his own... He will just have to work on your minis with you instead now! Give him a big cuddle, hope he's feeling better soon xxx

  3. Uh...I got a little distracted. She just left on Tuesday. We were having such a great time, she just couldn't leave us! She should be at her new destination in a day or two.
