To celebrate my 50th year and look back upon some highlights, I thought I would share with you all some things you didn't know about me...

Achievements;

1.Being a mum of 2 wonderful daughter's
2. Foster mum of 40 children
3. Set up and ran an Opportunity Shop to train young people in retail skills
4. Piloted a Community Services program for young offender's to get them out of mainstream detention centres
5. Pioneered an Alternative Learning School for student's at risk of leaving school early
6. Writing a Survival Handbook aimed at School Leaver's first year out of school
7. Successfully lobbying State and Federal Governments to keep the JPET (Jobs Placement and Employment Training Program)
8. Youth Affairs Officer for Rural and Isolated Young People
9. Editor and educational writer for Guidance Officer's Newsletter and website
10. Lived and worked in Hong Kong over a 3 year period training and managing staff at British Hotels
11.  Successful Netball player, coach and umpire for 25 years
12. Joined in Harley Davidson (motorbike) fundraising bike runs for Christmas Toys for underprivileged children
13. Driving myself around Australia (except Western Aus) 2 times
14. Helped build my first family home
15. Selected to become an Australian Nail Educator for Creative Nail Design California
16. Editor and educational writer for an Australian Nails Fashion Magazine

25. Dancing - I was also a Ballroom Dancer in my teens and successfully attained my bronze, silver and gold medals and gold bar then went onto compete as a finalist in the Victorian Ballroom Championships.
