Hello!!!!!!!!!! I am back for good now in 2013! I returned from my last little holiday break yesterday and have spent all day going through emails and blog reading. Everyone has been soooo busy! A few of my local readers were aware of a bushfire near our home last week and wrote their concerns to me. Thankfully we were fine, but sadly several people lost their homes and properties.
Here is a photo of the spectacular Storey Bridge in Brisbane, Queensland. My friend Lisa and I had dinner on the Brisbane River at a new restaurant owned by Chef Matt Moran. We met up with some old friends of mine and had a wonderful night sharing memories old and new!
Here is some miniature talent at work...artist Alice Zinn made this Eclectus parrot to scale for my daughter who has "Peachie" she raised from birth. The work and talent gone into this tiny bird is well truly amazing! If you haven't heard of Alice before, well get linking..https://www.facebook.com/alice.zinn.5?fref=pb she also has a new range of gorgeous sunglasses...Alice is also a Mini Jazzi hostess and we are meeting up in Chicago in April this year.Mini Jazzi is having a Mini Mod Pod of a time over at Cyd's in Indiana! She has experienced her first taste of snow and a very, well, groovy baby party with Austin Powers! Read all the stories here:

I did do some shopping of course whilst on holidays and picked up this Japanese Setting in the box for only $10. I am pretty sure it is brand new as it shows no signs of wear and tear. The Undersized Urbanite contest is moving along. Quite a few entries have started their houses and you can see some works in progress here http://www.littlevictorian.com/2013/01/undersized-urbanite-update-january.html
As I have been jet setting, I will have to get going on mine too!
If you want some garden inspiration for miniature settings, have a look at this guy's work at Applied Imagination http://appliedimagination.biz/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=707
That's all for now my dear blog friends and readers. Don't forget tomorrow is the first Monday Mini Link Party for 2013!
