Welcome to my world of Small Ideas!

I have always been a crafty person and have pretty much had a go at everything. I always had a love for Dolls Houses and their small world.
With two grown daughter's and no longer working, I now have the time to commit to my favourite past-time - making and creating Dolls Houses and Room Boxes.
I get totally absorbed in my small world creating tiny objects for the rooms. I am often told I am not on this planet when I am thinking of creating something new! I hope you enjoy my Blog as much as I will enjoy sharing my Small Ideas with you...

The Color Purple

Having been dormant in mini work since before Christmas, I am pleased to say I got some mojo back today! Spurred on by the purple Lekman box my daughter bought me,  I decided to dedicate a scene to my ideal relaxation room.

All the things that make me calm...

Adorable cookie sets made by Mins from Sydney
The mask on the wall beside mirror is from Venice.

I bought the Buddha on my recent trip to Queensland.
It has a soft blue light behind it.

The happy sack at front is a gift from Cyd of Mini Mod Pod.
Credits: Me! Vanity unit is an acrylic riser, vanity is a mauve ceramic bowl, small perfume bottles and happy sack made by Cyd from Mini Mod Pod. White bathmat I knitted. Upholstered chair made by me. Bathtub is a Pot Pie dish from Maxwell & Williams. Small round acrylic table is from eBay. Cookies, tray and tongs made by Mins from Miniaturist's Workshop. Wallpaper at back is scrapbooking sheet. Purple star lights are jewellery findings glued to battery operated led lights. Bath mat is a foamie. Butterfly card was from my daughter, I had the torso stand I picked up last year at a second hand shop for $2. Floor is a black marble vinyl square.
